The question a lot of sellers are asking , should I sell my property by myself or go to real estate agent. It sound likes to be or not to be this question! I think it is situational and totally depend on you. If you know what to do (you have done your home work and you are aware of the dimensions of job for doing FSBO) then you have to answer the following questions:
1.Do you have enough patient and time to do it, especially in the Buyers market it is more difficult to find a motivated buyer, while in sellers market FSBO is easier to do?
2.Is it worth the time and effort to do FSBO?
3.Ask yourself how much you save.
If the answer is yes then go for it. Many people has done FSBO and the number is growing annually, because the property seller are becoming increasing educated with the real Estate rules, regulations, disclosure, etc….
The bottom line is ,if you know what you are doing to do FSBO on your real estate property, and it is worth it the time and money, then you are in the right track and you will be one of those made it successfully then go for it, and you will do fine. Make sure read as much as you can websites regarding FSBO and have your lawyer to help you too.
